Default Privacy Mode

Sets which mode the chat opens in. You can change per-conversation in the chat header.

Fast

External AI. No PHI — your client records never leave your machine. Typical: 3-5s.

Private

Local AI only. Full GHL + Vault access. Your data stays on your machine. Typical: 15-30s.

BAA

External AI with full PHI access. Requires a signed BAA with your chosen provider.

BAA Mode (system-wide)

Turn on only if you have a signed Business Associate Agreement with the external provider you're using. This allows PHI to flow to that provider.

Optional — for SMS / voice via Retell/VAPI-adjacent workflows. Twilio uses two credentials together (HTTP Basic auth): the Account SID identifies your account, the Auth Token is its secret. Both live on the Console dashboard.

MCP Connections

Plug any MCP server into Archi. HTTP servers (hosted or local) work today. Discovered tools auto-appear on the Tools page tagged "yours" — any agent or team can use them.

Vault encryption

Your Book of Business is stored locally in vault/. You can add a password so files are encrypted at rest — required before uploading any PHI.

Vault now encrypted

Once enabled, Private Mode unlocks the vault with your password on session start. Losing the password = losing the vault (no recovery). Back it up.

Brain Source Usage Today

Hard per-source caps. At cap, that source skips and your query keeps working with the rest. Warnings at 50% and 90%. Resets at midnight UTC.
